Big and bold, these earrings really make a statement. The swirls are made from recycled bare copper, hammered and decorated with 6mm amethyst beads. Amethyst chips hang from the large swirls on handmade copper headpins with mini swirls, and the whole earring is suspended from handmade copper ear wires. The earrings are approximately 7.5cm long (including ear wires) and 2.5cm at the widest part. Amethyst is the birthstone for February and the traditional gift for the 33rd anniversary. Amethyst is thought to be a protective stone and linked to the third eye chakra, helpful in purifying the mind and clearing negative thoughts, stress and anxiety. Please note this is a bare copper product so will naturally darken over time. A coating of renaissance wax has been applied to prolong the desired finish of the item, although this will wear with time. A polishing cloth will restore its shine.
