Aquas and greens, along with bare copper, is a classic colour combination. This necklace combines dyed Scolecite rondelles with handcrafted bare copper links. Each link, including the elaborate toggle clasp, has been handmade by myself using copper reclaimed from electrical wiring. The variety and arrangement if links makes this piece truly unique. Although it has a clasp, the necklace is long enough, at about 65cm long) to go over the head, and it is 1.5cm at its widest part. Scolecite is a delicate and ethereal looking mineral which grows in long thin needle-like crystal formations. Because of its structure, it takes up dyes very readily so comes in a variety of dyed colours. It is revered for its calming and soothing energy, and can promote feelings of joy and inner peace.
